Cube house is a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam and Helmond in Holland, designed by architect Piet Blom, based on the concept of "living as an urban rooftop", high density housing with adequate space on the ground. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45 degrees, and rested it on a hexagon shaped pylon. His designs represent a village in a city where every house is a three, and all the houses together, a forest.
This is a list of episodes from the TV series Grand Designs and its spin-offs Grand Designs Indoors, Grand Designs Abroad and Grand Designs trade secrets. These homes give you the impression that their stability is very fragile. The cube houses are located in Rotterdam and Helmond, Netherlands. The complex was designed by Piet Blom in 1984.
