Danica Sue Patrick was born 25 March 1982 an American auto racing driver, model and advertising spokeswoman. She is currently competing in the IndyCar Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series. She placed third in the 500 2009-Indianapolis, who was both a personal record for her on the track, and the highest finish by a woman whose story. In 2010, Patrick began racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, running # 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet Impala for JR Motorsports part-time.
Patrick would come back for the 2011 IndyCar Series season started again Andretti Auto Sports, as well as competing part time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series driving for JR Motorsports sponsored by GoDaddy.com in both. In the season opener at the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Patrick started in the 19th and finished 12th for maintaining the fender damage and had to pit for a replacement twice, first after being hit by Ana Beatriz, and later in a similar event at Justin Wilson.
K & N Pro Series East
In the first NASCAR Patrick K & N Pro Series East race, posted her first top 10 finish (sixth) at Dover, but the next day, during the Nationwide race, she hit the wall after experiencing a vibration and a cut tire off 4 round, finishing 35th, 94 laps down.
NASCAR Nationwide Series
Danica Patrick and her sponsor GoDaddy.com announced on Aug. 25, 2011 that Patrick will leave the IndyCar Series and NASCAR Nationwide ride full time for JR Motorsports in 2012. She will also run a few selected races in the Sprint Cup Series for Stewart-Haas Racing.
Robby Gordon has claimed that Danica Patrick is relatively low body weight constitutes an unfair competition because of the inverse proportionality of the combined mass of a car and its driver, and the maximum speed. After Patrick's IRL win, she was praised by many drivers, including NASCAR driver and former IRL champion Tony Stewart.
