Pierre Thomas Jr. born December 18, 1984 is an American football running back for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League. Pierre Thomas is a world soccer champion won the 2009 NFL season as the featured running back for the New Orleans Saints.
His first love was baseball, and it was not until a year before high school, he took up football. Thomas played for the Lansing Lions Club as a youth and was coached by Gary Campbell.
Pierre was a little beaten up after going to the game against a tough Wolverine defense but after he learned that he would start the following week against Minnesota at home Pierre gave his "war injuries" to themselves.
Going undrafted in 2007 was not as if Thomas had imagined its entry into the NFL. Anyway he knew that hard work and determination will be key to his success.
